Doctor Appointments
The majority of our doctor’s appointments are made available each morning at 8am. You may book these appointments by calling the surgery or on-line using the NHS App. These appointments do get booked quickly, so please call at 8am.
Some GP appointments may be booked in advance, however this may be several weeks in advance – please talk to our reception staff.
If you feel that your concern is a medical emergency, we may add you to the ‘on-call list’. A doctor will triage this list and telephone you the same day.
Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, Pharmacist and Other Appointments
We have good availability of appointments with various clinical staff and these appointments can be booked in advance.
Booking an appointment
Please see our “Who Should I See” guide or speak with our reception staff to help decide which of our staff you need to see.
You may choose whether you would prefer a telephone or a face to face appointment.
To book an appointment you can either:
- Call reception on 024 7659 2012
- Visit reception to book in person
- Use our online services (including the NHS app)
Cancel an Appointment
If you can’t make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, so that another patient can make use of it. You can do this by calling reception or using the NHS App.
Enhanced Access Appointments
Working in partnership within our Primary Care Network, we are able to offer appointments outside of the normal working week. We are aware that it can be difficult to get an appointment at present or it may be difficult for you to attend an appointment during the normal working week.
- Monday to Friday: Telephone appointments between 6:30pm till 8pm
- Saturday: Face to Face – 9am to 5pm (2 different sites running every Saturday – with 1 Doctor, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner and 1 Nurse at each site).
Locations: Broomfield Park Medical Centre, Allesley Park Medical Centre, Engleton House Surgery and Warwick University Health Centre.
(The Practice is working at scale with other member Practices which is why the locations change frequently – every 2 weeks).
